Field Closure / Game Cancellation Process – General Reminder
- Before 8:00 AM on Saturdays or 4:00 PM on weekdays
Games may be canceled if the designated Fields Representative or LCSL Representative from the host community physically checks the fields and determines they are unplayable or unsafe. - After 8:00 AM on Saturdays or 4:00 PM on weekdays
The referee will make the final decision regarding playability based on weather and field conditions at game time. - Coaches
Coaches are expected to follow this process and do not cancel games due to weather.
Notification of Field Closure (Pre-Deadline Only)
If a game is canceled prior to the deadline, the home team is responsible for notifying the following via group email:

Within each community’s internal process, representatives communicating with their coaches are expected to encourage timely, courtesy communication with the opposing coach to ensure alignment, avoid confusion, and not rely solely on the QuickScores website for updates.
Notifications should be sent as soon as possible after a decision is made.
