Message to Players and Families :

Volleyball is a game to 25 — that means the ball will hit the floor at least 25 times in a set. Our hope is that most of those drops happen on the other side of the net. The reality is simple and honest: the ball will fall sometimes. What we control is how we respond. Focus only on the ball and on your own performance. See the play, move to your spot, execute your role, and trust your teammates to do the same.
Core Principle
Play your position. Know exactly where you belong on the court and what you are supposed to do in every moment. When you are on the court, your job is to play — not to coach. Coaching is for practice. Talking is for practice. In games, silence your sideline coaching and channel that energy into the next play.
The team performs best when every player is fully present in their role.
What I Expect in Game
(You should demand this from yourself too)
Eyes on the ball at all times.
• Feet in the right place before the ball is served.
• Actions, not instructions — move, cover, communicate briefly and clearly, then play.
• Compete every rally with the intent to keep the ball off our side of the court.

Why Effort and History Matter
Effort compounds. Every drill, every extra rep, every season you’ve played adds up. Your historical effort is real — it shows up in your instincts, your timing, and your resilience. You will get out of this experience what you put into it. Past work counts; present work determines the next moment.
To Parents and Families
Thank you for the rides, the cheers, the late nights, and the steady belief. Your support creates the environment where players can commit, fail, learn, and grow. Whether you clap from the stands or listen after a tough night, your presence matters and fuels this team.
We are building more than wins. We are building discipline, trust, and character. Bring your best attitude, your focus, and your effort to every practice and every game. When each person does their job and respects the game plan, the ball will fall where we want it to — more often on the other side.
Thank you for your commitment.
With pride and belief,
Coach Leora
