Garland Girls Softball Association
Serving girls ages 4–18 in Garland, Texas since 1961. We offer recreational and competitive fastpitch softball in a positive environment focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Garland Girls Softball Code of Conduct
- Be positive and constructive at all times.
- Do not use abusive language or actions, and control your anger at all times.
- You may compliment any good play or sportsmanship, even to opposing players or teams.
- Treat all umpires with respect, recognizing that softball rules involve judgment.
- An umpire or League rep may eject someone from the park for causing a disturbance.
Important Reminders
- Home Team: The home team is responsible for removing the bases and pitching rubber after the final game.
- Clean Up: Please clean the stands and dugout areas after each game.
Rainout Procedures
In case of bad weather, our priority is the safety of players, coaches, and spectators.
- Decision Before 5:00 PM: If rain is forecasted or starts before 5:00 PM, games will be canceled by 5:00 PM.
- Decision After 5:00 PM: If it starts raining after 5:00 PM, the decision to cancel games will be made at game time.
