Inter-League Event
Get ready to play ball and give back! Garland Girls Softball Association is excited to host our Holiday Giving Day Round Robin on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the GGSA fields in Garland! This fun, in-house event will bring our 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U teams together for a day of softball, community, and holiday giving.
- No entry fee! Instead, we're asking each participating team to bring a generous donation to support local families in need.
- New, unwrapped toys will benefit Hope's Clinic in Garland.
- Non-perishable food items will benefit Good Samaritan in Garland.
Each team will play 2–3 games in a friendly round-robin format. Exact game times and matchups will be shared with coaches once team registrations are finalized.
Let's come together as a softball community to make a difference this holiday season! We can't wait to see our GGSA families on the fields for a day of teamwork, kindness, and giving back.

Important Reminders
- Home Team: The home team is responsible for removing the bases and pitching rubber after the final game.
- Clean Up: Please clean the stands and dugout areas after each game.
Rainout Procedures
In case of bad weather, our priority is the safety of players, coaches, and spectators.
- Decision Before 5:00 PM: If rain is forecasted or starts before 5:00 PM, games will be canceled by 5:00 PM.
- Decision After 5:00 PM: If it starts raining after 5:00 PM, the decision to cancel games will be made at game time.
- Communication: Updates will be posted on our website Home Page, Facebook, and our league telephone at (972) 276-5483.
Garland Girls Softball Code of Conduct
- Be positive and constructive at all times.
- Do not use abusive language or actions, and control your anger at all times.
- You may compliment any good play or sportsmanship, even to opposing players or teams.
- Treat all umpires with respect, recognizing that softball rules involve judgment.
- An umpire or League rep may eject someone from the park for causing a disturbance.
