Tuesday Night Men's Basketball League

  Welcome to the League!

We look forward to a fun season

Coaches, please put in your team rosters before the start of the season. Putting in your roster is done online, if you need help with this, please contact the sports office, 385-468-1670, Ryan will be happy to help you with this.

This is a recreation league, players who played college basketball are not allowed to play the recreation leagues. Salt Lake County has semi comp leagues for players with college experience.

We start games September 15 .

At the end of the season we will have a tournament and all teams will participate. During the tournament we will use the same team rosters. All player must of played at least in 2 games to be on the tournament roster. The league will end on November 10.

Team Uniforms are required. They do not have be expensive matching jerseys, but they do need to be the same color and have a player's number on the front and back.

Your game supervisor for this season is Jen and Kristy, Jen has been doing this for many seasons. Kristy is going on her 2nd season. We are happy to have both of them running the league. If you have questions, Jen or Kristy will be happy to help you, if you need further help, please contact Mike at mgoolsby@saltlakecounty.gov.

Our officials are adult Salt Lake County Certified Officials. Please treat them as you would want to be treated. As the officials are abused and finally decide it is not worth it, we lose their service, the day may come when there will not be enough officials, and the county may have to cut back on Men's Basketball.

A couple words on player behavior. Almost all of the players in the league act appropriate. When we have games that run smoothly it is an enjoyable night for all. When we have one or two people act out it impacts the rest of the players, officials and game supervisors. Players that act out will face consequences for their actions so that the other players can have an enjoyable evening, not having to put up with a person or persons that selfishly acts out. Our goal is not to be heavy handed but not have a few ruining it for everyone else.

If you receive two technical fouls in a game or in the determination of the officials or supervising staff, you have acted out in a serious manner you will be ejected. If you are ejected, you will be suspended for the next two games. So, if you get a technical in the game you need to calm down, on the 2nd technical received in the same game you will be ejected and have a 2 game suspension. If you receive three technical fouls during the season you are suspended for the rest of the season.
