When does the playing season start?
- Spring League (T-Ball–14U): Mid-March →End of May
- Summer High School League: Starts → June 1
- Fall League (T-Ball–High School): Mid-September → mid-November
What do 8U, 10U, 12U, etc. mean?
- These are age divisions (e.g., 8U = 8 and under)
- A player’s age is determined as of January 1
- Experienced players may “play up” one age group
How do I know the correct age division?
- Your daughter’s division is based on her age on January 1 of that year
When are games played?
- Typically Monday–Thursday
- Games can be scheduled any day of the week, depending on field availability
- A rescheduled game due to a rainout could be Friday - Sunday
Where can teams practice?
- Winters Complex: Free for registered teams (shared access) and reserved by the coach
- Other options:
- City parks (e.g., Cullom, Bill Cody) → about $20/hour
- Local school fields (may be free with permission)
- Practice scheduling depends on:
- Field availability
- Weather
- League events/tournaments
Recreation vs. Select Teams
Recreation Teams:
- Focus on fun and exercise
- Typically 6–10 games per season
Select Teams:
- Tryout-based
- Play competitive weekend tournaments
- Separate from GGSA rec league
How do I register?
- Register online

- Copy of birth certificate

Do we need to buy equipment?
- Yes, every player needs her own glove, but other equipment may be borrowed from the team or league
- Managers leave a deposit check for borrowed equipment
Are jerseys included?
- Included (no cost):
- 8U, T-Ball, Blastball (basic one color script logo T-shirts)
- Not included (older divisions):
- Parents typically pay for jerseys or full uniforms
- Optional upgrades/custom designs may cost extra
