Our Mission
Dixon Girls Fastpitch is a non-profit youth sports organization dedicated to teaching softball fundamentals and life skills through good sportsmanship, leadership, positive coaching, and peer and parent communication. It is our goal to prepare girls to learn and play the game of softball in a fun, healthy, and safe environment. We emphasize the importance of respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials. We not only strive to teach game skills, but life skills, as well as build lasting relationships with good friends. We want every player’s experience to lead her back to play year after year.
Our Goals
- Teach the fundamentals and skills of fast-pitch softball, and establish the building blocks for future growth
- Teach the value of teamwork and becoming an effective member of a team
- Teach sportsmanship and fair play by emphasizing proper treatment of teammates, coaches, opponents and officials
- Create opportunities to build relationships and friendships through sports programs
- Help develop a love of the game and life-long memories of playing.
