
An inning ends when the last out happens. If there is time on the clock when the out happens there will be another inning played (if needed)
No team can score more then 7 runs (5 runs in 3rd/4th softball) in an inning. If the home team is down by 8 runs (6 runs 3rd/4th softball) when the time ends the game will be over.
Overtime or Extra Innings:
Pool Play games can end in a tie- No extra innings!
Bracket Play - we must have a winner. We will play the runner on 2nd rule for extra innings (The runner placed on second base at the start of each half-inning in extras is the player in the batting order immediately preceding that half-inning's)
Home team: If they are the same seed from different pools for playoffs we will do a coin toss before the game to see who is the home team. This will be done for all game if both teams are the same seed and on the same side of the bracket (winner or loser).
