Adult Pickleball League

6-week league play, designed to keep everyone playing and having fun.
Each week is set up as a round robin mixer.
Each individual will rotate partners and opponents.
(Occasionally "Kings Court" may be played)

All games are played on Pickleball courts at Wardle Fields Regional Park
There are water fountains and bathrooms on site.

Tues or Thurs 6:40pm-9:00pm:
Spring: April 8th-May 15th
Reg opens: Thurs, March 6th at 9am
Summer: June 3rd-July 10th (No games Thurs, July 4th)
Reg opens: April 22nd at 9am
Fall: July 30-Sept 5th
Reg opens: Tues, June 7th at 9am

League instructions:

Check in time will be anywhere between 6:3pm to 6:55pm. If you or your sub do not check-in on time your spot may be forfeited.
  • Warm up after checking in. We provide Franklin X-40 balls. Please bring a paddle.
  • Meet at your court get one person to be “Court Captain” for the night. They will be in charge of picking up the scoresheet from the check in table at 7:00 pm.
  • You play round robin games, first to 11 then follow your assigned number on the game card.
  • At 8:55 pm Captains please grab your court reserve sign, pencil, pickleball, clipboard, scoresheet and turn it into the check in table, next to court 5/6. You can set it on the table or give it to one of the site supervisors. The ball goes in the pickleball caddy.
  • If you cannot attend your league night, you are responsible for finding a sub of the same playing level as you. They play on the court that you are assigned to and can’t switch them to a different court.
  • You can email me, jrussnogle@saltlakecounty.gov and let me know either your sub name or if you can’t find a sub. I may have someone that can fill in.
  • For weather, if we are cancelling, we will send an email/text closer to our start time. If you do not hear from me we are still playing.

If you are consistently a no show you will be dropped a court for the next week.
