Registration:   Registration includes 7 games, two practices, Junior Jazz Jersey, two tickets to a preassigned Jazz game and entrance to the Junior Jazz party and the Delta Center.

                        Registration is available September 1^st through November 30^th.      

Cost: $93

Scholarship discounts provided as requested.

 

Coaches: If you have a group of 8 or more requesting to play on your team you will not have additional players added to the team. Have those wanting to play with your team put your name in the player/coach request on their registration form. On your registration form include your contact information and your team will be put together.

 

Locations: Schools throughout Salt Lake County. Participants will be scheduled in the area they live closest to.

 

Practices: Season will begin the week of Monday January 4^th. There will be one pre-season practice and one practice scheduled during the season. Coaches are welcome to find practice locations for the rest of the season but it will not be provided.

 

Games:  Games will begin Saturday January 9^th.  Game days for 7^th-8^th grades will mostly be on Saturdays. Game days for 9^th through 12^th grades will be on weekdays. Game days will be determined after registration has closed. Some exceptions may be made for coaches needing a special request. 

 

Rosters:  Teams may request to register with their own group of 8-10 players. A designated coach must be identified, and all players must be registered individually prior to the registration deadline. Rosters will be finalized prior to the first game. Individuals that do not have a coach will be grouped with other participants from their area. Individuals not registered are not allowed to participate for any reason.

 

Uniforms: Teams will be provided jerseys. Teams must wear the provided jersey.    

 

Rules:  Please refer to the Junior Jazz youth Guidebook for league rules. 

 

Schedules:  Game schedules will be posted on www.quickscores.com/sportsoffice on the Junior Jazz League page. Schedules will be posted by 5pm on Friday, December 17^th.

 

League Info:   Players will compete in the grade they are currently attending in school. For example, a student currently in 8th grade will play in the 8th-grade division, even if they have a birthday that places them in an older age group. Girls 7^th-9^th grade will be combined and 10^th-12^th grade combined.

A: Requests to play in a higher grade division may be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the league.

B: Players are not allowed to play in a lower grade division, regardless of age, to ensure fair competition and safety.
