Number of Players. Up to 10 on a roster. Maximum number of players on the floor is 6 per team.
Team Practice: Prior to the games starting the teams will have ten minutes to warm up and get organized. We will then have the game
Duration of Game: 3 and 4 year olds division will play two 15-minute halves with a two- minute half-time, 5 and 6 year olds divisions will play two 20-minute halves with a two-minute half-time, each team may have a one minute time-out per half. The score is not kept on the game time clock at the timekeepers table.
Start of Play: The referee will determine who kicks off in the first half. The team that does not kick of in the first half will kick off in the second. The teams will change goals at half time.
Substitutions: Unlimited, the player will come to the bench and is then replaced by another player while the game is in progress.
Players Equipment: Any gym shoe can be worn (no cleats), as long as they don’t mark the floor. They also must either tie or Velcro (no slip ons, mules, platforms, etc.) Shin guards are strongly suggested for safety.
Indoor Soccer Staff: One person will be appointed to help on the floor. The second person will work the table and will manage the game time.
Fouls & Misconduct: An indirect free kick will be awarded for all fouls and defensive players must stand at least 5 feet away from the ball. Any intentional foul committed as judged by the official can result in a benching penalty of that player. The amount of penalty time will be five (5) game time minutes. The player serving the penalty time may be replaced by another player.
Slide tackling is not permitted. It can also result in a benching penalty depending on the severity of the foul. STAY ON YOUR FEET!
Corner Kicks/Goal Kick. If the ball is kicked behind the net a corner kick or goal kick will be award-ed depending on who kicked the ball.
Out of Bounds/Restarts: If the ball goes outside of the walled playing area, the ball will be given to the opposite team that touched it last. The player will restart play by performing an indirect kick.
Coaches can be on the court for the 3 and 4 year old leagues and when needed for the 5 and 6 year olds.
