8U RULES

1. Line ups must be given to scorekeeper before the game. 

2. Game times are 65 minutes, Run rules do come in affect 12 after 3, 10 after 4, 8 after 5

3. Batting: Player gets 5 pitches from the coach with 3 swings, batter can strikeout. batter can foul off until ball is hit into play.  

4. Coaches may pitch anywhere within the circle, the pitching rubber is set at 35ft. Coach may pitch from the front of the circle but not outside the drawn circle line.

5. No bunt, No slap hitting.

6. Only one base is allowed on an overthrow to 1st base. Play is called dead when the ball reaches the pitching circle, defensive player is in front of the lead runner or by umps discretion.

7. If coach is hit by a pitch it is considered a dead ball. 

8. MUST BAT FULL LINE UP

5 RUN LIMIT PER INNING!

9. Base runners may lead off when the ball has left the coaches hand, there is no stealing in 8u. 

10. Field Rules: pitcher must be even with or beside the pitching rubber. outfield must have a foot in the grass. 4 outfielders are allowed.

ALL PLAYERS MUST PLAY THE FIELD THERE ARE NO EH, YOU MUST SUB SITTING PLAYERS IN.

ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR A FACE SHIELD ON DEFENSE.
