Hoover Sports Park East 2649 Old Rocky Ridge Rd. (160 Acres) This park has softball, baseball, soccer and football fields. A pavilion, playground equipment, press box and concession stand are also on site. From Lorna Road, turn onto OLD Rocky Ridge Road. This turn is adjacent to the overpass above I-459. Follow Old Rocky Ridge for about 3 miles or so, through residential area. You will see the park on your left. OR If heading east on I-459, exit I-459 at the Acton Road exit. Turn left. Go to 3rd traffic light (You will see a Shopping Center on your left and AAA Auto Club on your right), and make a left at that intersection on to Old Rocky Ridge Road. Follow road around and you will come to the park on your left. OR If heading west on I-459, exit at the Acton Road exit. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp. Travel past a shopping strip on your left and the AAA Auto Club building on your right. At the traffic light that marks the intersection of Acton Road and Old Rocky Ridge Road, turn left. Follow Old Rocky Ridge, and the park will be on your left.
