2026 Morrison Youth T-Ball League

Join us for some summer fun on the baseball field!  Our instructional T-Ball league teaches the basic fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing in a non-competitive game environment with an emphasis on teamwork and fun!
Age: 4 - 6 year olds
Cost:  $30 / player
Dates:  6/15/26 - 7/23/26
Meet & Greet Night event will be held on Monday, June 15th 5:00pm at the Morrison Sports Complex.  Meet your coaches, get your t-shirt & hat, run the bases and play some catch!  This will be an informal event to help parents and players become familiar with the T-Ball program and the Morrison Sports Complex.
Practices may begin the week of June 15th and will be held 1-2 times per week, until games begin.  Coaches will typically set the practice schedule on opening night, with input from team parents.
Games will be played on Monday and Thursday evenings starting at either 5:00 pm or 6:15 pm.  Games will be played at the Morrison Sports Complex and all teams will play one game on each scheduled night.
Game Schedule is as follows:  7/6, 7/9, 7/13, 7/16, 7/20, & 7/23
Volunteer Coaches will be needed for each team.  If you are interested in volunteering as a head coach or team assistant, please indicate on the registration form below.  As this is a new sport for almost all players extra volunteer support is much appreciated!
Uniforms for each team will be matching shirts and hats.  Both are included in the registration fee.
Registration Deadline is 06/12/26.  A late fee of $5 will be added to all registrations occurring after the deadline.  Also, team shirts and hats cannot be guaranteed for opening night if registration occurs past the deadline.

BACKGROUND CHECK

In an effort to protect our youth, all Morrison Parks & Recreation volunteer coaches are required to pass a criminal background screening.  The cost of such screening is paid by the City of Morrison.  All information is kept confidential.

LIABILITY WAIVER

In consideration of being allowed to participate in Morrison Parks & Recreation programs and related events and activities, the undersigned:
 
(1) Acknowledge and fully understand that each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from their own actions, inactions, or negligence but the action, inaction, and negligence of others, or the condition of the premises or of any equipment used.  Further, that there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably forseeable at this time.
 
(2) Assume all the foregoing risks and accepts personal responsibility for the damages following such injury, permanent total disability or death.
 
(3) Release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the City of Morrison, its administrators, directors, agents, and other volunteers of the organization, participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors or premises used to conduct Morrison Parks & Recreation activities, all of which are hereinafter referred to as "releasees,", from any and all liability to each of the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages on account of injury, including death and damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.

PHOTO POLICY

Photographs are periodically taken of participants in our recreation programs, as well as at our park locations and facilities.  These photos may be used at any City advertisement materials, including, but not limited to he following:  brochures, flyers, advertisements, website and social media.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds for cancellations of the program will be sent back to you via check or refunded via PayPal.  Personal cancellations more than 2 weeks before the start of the season will be less a $5 service fee.  Personal cancellations less than 2 weeks will be no more than 50% of paid fee.  Any cancellations after the start of the program (06/19/23), no refund will be paid.
