Q: How do I join the CLUB VOS Volleyball Club Program?
A:Tryouts are November 8th for 12U-14U. 15U-18U will be Saturday, November 22nd. Visit specific branches webpage at www.quickscores.com/clubvosvolleyball for more information.
Q: How long is the club volleyball season?
A:Practices start as soon as try-outs are finished and you have been selected for a CLUB VOS team. You can visit the AZ Region website to see the AZ Region Tournament Schedule for your age group. CLUB VOS players practice until all the team tournament commitments have been fulfilled. You should note when looking at the AZ Region Tournament Schedule what days and dates are used. Most are Saturdays, and take place anywhere in Phoenix, Tucson, and/or Flagstaff.
Q: How do I know if my daughter’s team will compete in the Open, Championship, or Club division?
A: Once your daughter has been selected for a team, the CLUB VOS directors will place each team into a division that fits each the teams abilities.
Q: Does club volleyball interfere with school breaks and holidays?
A: Yes. And you will need to check your team commitments before planning family functions. You are committing to CLUB VOS for an entire club season, and your absence at tournaments and practices effects the team and the club.
Q: When are practices?
A: Practices are held anywhere from 5:00pm – 10:00pm, twice a week. We try to get the 12’s teams done prior to 7:30pm.
Q: How many athletes are on a team?
A: Teams consist of no fewer than 8 and no more than 13 players.
Q: Do you travel to out of state tournaments?
A: It is a possibility that teams will travel out of state depending on the age and strength of the team. This will be an additional cost and decided by Parents, Coaches and Club Director.
Q: What do the fees cover and how much are they?
A: The fees cover insurance, background screens on coaches, coach education and certification, tournament uniform (including jersey and warm-ups), equipment,
administrative costs, gym fees and coaching fees. Once you daughter has made a Club VOS team they are responsible for paying the USAV membership in its entirety. Teams could play in fun tournaments outside of the region schedule. Additional fees will be charged for these tournaments.
Cost for Club VOS 2025 - 2026 Season
A commitment fee will be due at the time of tryouts when the teams are formed. Commitment Fee is $250.
After the initial commitment fee is paid there will be 5 scheduled payments (starting in December and going through April) to be determined based on team.
Prices for the 2025-26 Season are as listed ( includes commitment fee)
Members/ $1975, $250 commitment fee and then $345/month for 5 months beginning December 1st
Non-Members/ $2125, $250 commitment fee and then $375/month for 5 months beginning December 1st
Q: When are payments due?
A: The CLUB VOS Dues are collected on the first of every month by bank draft
Q: What age group do I try-out for?
A: Please view the Age Definitions to see, by birthday, what age group your daughter should try-out for. They must tryout for their age group. It is the coaches and club directors decision to allow them to “play up”.
Q: Is it possible when I try-out that I will not be selected for a team?
A: Unfortunately, yes this is possible. At times we are unable to place all the players that come to try-out onto a team.
