ABOUT THE HONAN LEAGUE
The Kevin G. Honan Women's Basketball League is a adult women's outdoor basketball summer league. The league has been backed by Representative Kevin G. Honan since the start of his service in the Massachusetts legislature in 1987.
For nearly four decades, the league has provided an opportunity for women looking compete over the summer. The league features primarily athletes who have competed at every level of intercollegiate basketball (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, Junior College), but welcomes athletes of all skill levels. For many years, the league also ran a high school girls league for Boston-area schools.

Among Honan League alumni are NCAA National Champions, overseas professionals, and conference and national players of the year. The league also claims a number of college, high school and club coaches, college and high school administrators, plus Governor of Massachusetts, Maura Healey.
