The UBBA adopts the Perfect Game USA banned bat list as its official list of prohibited bats. This list is subject to change at any time, and bats may be added or removed at the discretion of Perfect Game USA. The current list can be found HERE
It is the responsibility of each player and coach to ensure that all bats used in UBBA games are compliant with this list.
**Specifically, but not limited to, the Easton Hype Fire is among bats that may be subject to being added to the banned bat list.**
Players and coaches should stay informed about potential changes to the banned bat list.
**Penalty for Use of an Illegal Bat:** If a batter is discovered using a bat that is on the current Perfect Game USA banned bat list, or any bat subsequently added to the list, the batter will be called out. The play will be declared dead, and any runners will return to the base they occupied prior to the pitch. The bat in question will be removed from play. Umpires have the final authority on the legality of a bat.
