Salt Lake County is not responsible for accidents. Patrons skate at their own risk.
For the safety of all skaters, the following is prohibited during any public skate sessions:
• Carrying children or other skaters.
• Excessive speed, racing, playing tag or games.
• Throwing snowballs or objects.
• Chains of more than 3 skaters holding hands.
• Sitting on the boards or entering the player’s benches.
• Walkers, strollers, hockey pucks, sticks, wearing headphones.
• Speed skating with speed skates, unless designated by management.
• Cutting across the ice, any high speed maneuvers, or skating in the opposite direction of skating traffic.
• Food or beverages.
• Jumps above axel, no double jumps, basic spins only. Figure skating maneuvers must be practiced in the inner circle.
Skaters must obey skate guard’s orders. Skaters shall be alert, as to other skaters, at all times and yield to slower skaters. Before entering the ice, skaters must pay for their session. Management is not responsible for items stolen or left within or near rink or building. Management reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the ice or building at anytime for any reason.
• Private Lessons during Public Skate sessions:
o Private lessons during Public Skate sessions are allowed for “Basic Skills” Learn to Skate and hockey skills however rink personnel may cancel lessons on a public skate session at their discretion.
o If ten or more public skaters are present during a Public Skate session, coaches must either skate with the flow of traffic or stay in the center of the ice (between blue lines and red dots).
