Schools have the option to agree to move dates and/or split up the doubleheaders if they desire. If schools do agree to move dates and the change is more than one day either way from the original date then the change requires approval from the conference office. 

 

For 2021-22 in both men’s and women’s basketball, the GNAC postseason format will seed 1-4 by division and cross over in the tournament quarterfinals. There will be no reseeding throughout (Adopted January 2020).
Ties for seeding will be broken by the following sequential based on regular season standings
1. Number of conference wins
2. Conference head-to-head*
3. Results vs. highest-ranked conference teams

4. Results vs. common opponents
5. Overall winning percentage (total season play)
