EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2021

AB-1 YOUTH ATHLETICS: CA YOUTH FOOTBALL ACT

(a) No more than 2 full-contact practices per week during the preseason and regular season
(b) Tackle football team cannot hold a full-contact during the offseason
(c) Full contact of practice shall not exceed 30 mins in any single day
(d) Coaches shall annually receive tackling/blocking certification from to minimize the risk during contact
(e)All administrators aka board members, coaches and referee(s) shall receive training on:
(f)Each parent/guardian of a tackle football participant will receive concussion/head injury and Opioid Factsheet( AVAILABLE ON DOWNLOADS)
(g) Helmet needs to be reconditioned and recertified every other year by a licensed NOCSAE and display their sticker with month/year of last certification.
(h) A state licensed emergency medical technician, paramedic, or higher level licensed medical professional has to be present during all games.
       -Coaches need annual certification for First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator.
       -Each association will need to have someone at every practice who is certified in First              Aid, CPR and Defibrillator and knows Concussion protocol. This person will have the                ability to evaluate and remove any player from practice who exhibits injury, including                 head/concussions symptoms.
       -Safety equipment needs to be inspected prior to each use.
       -Any player removed due to injury needs to be reported to an association representative.
       -All players need to have a minimum 10 hour of noncontact practice aka conditioning at           the beginning of the season without pads, but helmets if required by coach.

  $5.00-Adults and $3.00-Kids 5 years+ and Seniors/Kids under 5--FREE
SRYF Players WEARING a JERSEY--FREE
There is a fee at each site so if you plan on going to different game sites...you pay two (2) times.

AUGUST 31st.
This means league age is determined by youth's age on or before 8-31-2026.
"A"-7,8,9 years old
"AA"-10, 11 years old
"AAA"-12, 13, & 14(8th graders only) years old
NO EXCEPTIONS OR WAIVERS
