Taylor Street MBC Fall to Trinity Spirits Despite Strong Effort From Tink Jr

Tink Jr collected three hits in three at bats, but Taylor Street MBC lost to Trinity Spirits 15-11 on Tuesday at Tahoe Park. Tink Jr hit a home run to left field in the fourth inning, tripled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.

 

Despite the loss, Taylor Street MBC did collect 16 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Trinity Spirits had 19 his on the way to victory.

 

Trinity Spirits got on the board in the first inning after Deborah drew a walk, scoring one run.

Taylor Street MBC jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Tink Jr tripled, and Steve singled, each scoring one run.

 

Rebecca grounded out, which helped Trinity Spirits tie the game in the top of the second.

Taylor Street MBC took the lead in the bottom of the second. Jairus singled, scoring two runs, to give Taylor Street MBC the lead, 4-2.

 

Trinity Spirits flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring five runs on eight hits to take a 7-4 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a walk by Sydney that drove in one.

Taylor Street MBC tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a triple by Jasmen and a single by Tink.

 

Trinity Spirits flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring eight runs on seven hits to take a 15-7 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Theresa that drove in two.

Taylor Street MBC made the score 15-11 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Jairus homered to center field, scoring two runs, and Tink Jr homered to left field, scoring two runs.

 

Taylor Street MBC amassed 16 hits in the game. Jairus, Tink Jr and Steve each collected three hits for Taylor Street MBC. Jasmen collected two hits for Taylor Street MBC in three at bats.

 

Trinity Spirits accumulated 19 hits in the game. Bruce and Theresa each collected three hits for Trinity Spirits. Deborah, Donnie, and Bruce each drove in two runs for Trinity Spirits. Christina, Alexander, and Rebecca each collected multiple hits for Trinity Spirits. Charles led Trinity Spirits with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game.
