This website is designed to give you easy access to all of your Baseball information.

About us:

The Burkburnett Baseball League Inc. is a registered nonprofit with the IRS.  We are run by a board of volunteers.  No one on this board is paid, we are all donating our time and resources to help baseball in Burkburnett succeed.  If you would like to be part of our organization, please talk to a board member to discuss opportunities.

Spring 2024 Registration
Registration Opens January 1st
LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS January 31st
Individuals 
  • If you are not already associated with a team, click on Registration above to register.  Please fill out all questions.  Coach pitch and T-Ball will be randomly assigned to teams.  All other decisions will be drafted on February 4th by team coaches.  
  • If you were on a team last year and want a new team please indicate this in the form.  
  • KID PITCH: if you have aged up and your old team did not you will be in the draft, likewise if your team aged up and you have elected not to then you will also be in the draft.  
Existing Teams
  • Machine pitch/T-ball:  in machine pitch or t-ball, coaches can make their own team.  When you register, please indicate if you are already on a team, the team name and or head coach.
  • Machine pitch moving up to kid pitch: If the team is formed in machine pitch it will be allowed to move up to kid pitch without going through the draft.  If a player does not move up with the team or your team is not full the spots will be filled through the draft. 
  • Kid pitch: Teams that were together last year will be grandfathered and allowed to remain as a team this year.  However, any player either aging up or staying behind will be replaced with the draft.  
  • Teams from out of the city of Burkburnett can form their own team from that school district only.  Any player not in that district must be approved by the board.  
Draft
  • There will be a draft on February 10th.  Players and a team coach will need to attend.  Players will go through a quick workout to show skills.  Coaches will observe and can take notes.  The draft will be immediately after the workout for that division. 
  • Times for each division will be announced in January. 
  • IF a player is not at the draft, they will be randomly assigned a team.  Coach’s will not be allowed to draft a player not at the draft. 
Teams are limited to a maximum of 12 players for registration

 

WE NEED COACHES: If you would be willing to coach, please send a message to the league! 

 

MANDATORY COACHES MEETING: February 10th, all teams head coaches and/or second in charge must attend this meeting or meet with a board member personally before.  This will be the coach meeting and draft.  If you don’t show up, your ten will be drafted by a board member and still be required to meet with the board on a second date TBD.  

 

MANDATORY Background Check:  All teams are limited to 3 coaches and a dugout mom and the league will pay for the background checks.  All background checks must be done by March15th.  Teams will not be allowed to play until the checks are completed, no exceptions.  

 

 

Age Divisions: 

 

  • Coach Pitch:            4-years-old by March 1, 2024 thru kindergarten
  • Machine Pitch:        1st and 2nd Grades
  • Minors Kid Pitch:    3rd and 4th Grades
  • Majors Kid Pitch:    5th and 6th Grades
  • Senior:                      7th and 8th Grades
Players may play up 1 division but not down.

 

Fees for 2024 are $65 for T-ball and $75 for all other divisions

  • Fees do not include uniforms or any equipment
  • There will be no refunds, if the season is canceled for any reason, the board will assess if a refund is possible.  
    • Many of the expenses for operating the fields are year-round.  These expenses do not go away if the season is canceled.

  • Practice Starts:            February 12th
  • Opening Day:                March 23rd
  • End Regular Season:   May 17th
  • Playoff Week:               May 20-25th

Donations:  If you want to donate to the league all donations will go 100% to improving the fields and donations are tax deductible.  Our EIN number is 85-4244704, and we are currently registered in the IRS's database of charities.
