Home Team:

• The higher seed is always the home team (1 is highest seed, 6 is lowest seed)

Game Rules:

• The rules, as described in the 2019 LOYBL Rule book apply to the tournament, except for the changes explicitly stated below.

Time Limit & Tie-Breakers:

• No new inning can start after 2 hours, unless the game is in a tie. In the case of a tie the International Tie-Breaker Rule will go into effect. If a game has completed in a tie within the regulation time, extra innings will be played as standard baseball. After the 2 hour time limit, any new inning will be played using the International Tie-Breaker Rule.

Tie-Breaker Rules (International Tie-Breaker):

• Last official batter of previous inning goes on second base.
• The Tie-Breaker inning will begin with one out.
• The next official batter based on the previous inning is up.
• Regulation Baseball.

Pitcher Rules:

• Senior – Maximum of 80 pitches per DAY per Pitcher – May pitch on consecutive days if less than 21 pitches on prior day.

Pitching example: Senior - In your first game on Saturday a pitcher throws 30 pitches. They are still able to throw 50 pitches in the second game that day if you win. They will be ineligible to pitch on Sunday.
