At their January 2023 meeting at the NCAA Convention the GNAC Athletic Directors Council voted (13-0-1) to maintain the divisional format for 2024 GNAC Softball and to reduce the crossover games by one in 2024.
For 2024 there is a new playoff format and the GNAC Championship tournament is a week later than in past years
