Hi Team, 

 

My name is Tonio Catero and I’m the coach of your 8U baseball team!

 

I’m looking forward to meeting all my athletes! 

 

Our first practice will be Wednesday June 3rd from 6-7. My girlfriend is coaching 6U Tball and they will be practicing right after us! So I will be around and on the field until 8PM.

 

About me, I am Tallon Catero’s dad, and he will be playing on my team. No worries about preferential treatment he is a player just like all the other athletes. If you do think I am treating him differently please speak up and I will do my best to address it. My day job is an Engineer. This is my first time to ever coach a team so please bear with me! And I’m in search of an assistant coach if anyone wants to offer! Otherwise Alesa McPhail (my girlfriend coaching 6U Tball-ball) will be voluntold. I’m very familiar with the game. I grew up playing baseball on school teams and I look forward to teaching others on how to play the game.

 

I’ll will provide a team drink/snack for our 1st practice. And will bring a sign-up list for team drinks/snacks after the ball games at our Wednesday practice. 

 

I look forward to meeting everyone and we’ll have a BALL this season. I will be sending out a GroupMe invite to the phone numbers listed on the roster. The group name is 8U Baseball YMCA (Couch Pitch). If you need help getting it set up, I can help out after practice.
