Granbury Athletic Association Spring 2022 SOFTBALL Registration
ALL FEES MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO MIDNIGHT ON JANUARY 31, 2022.  After 1/31/22, a late payment fee of $25.00 will be added to all unpaid registrations and must be paid prior to 2/5/22.
Online registration is open for all players. If you did not play with us in Spring '21 OR Fall '21, you must provide a COPY of the player's birth certificate at tryouts, if requested. (5U and above).
The fee for SPRING 2022 is $150 per player (8U-14U) and $85.00 for 6U T-Ball.  After JANUARY 31, 2022 the cost of registration is $175 ($105 for 6U)
14U softball registration has been moved over to the wait list.  If we have girls that either drop out or do jot complete their registration up to and including payment, girls on woatlist will be moved to active rosters.

We anticipate draft to occur the week of February 20th and the season starting the week of March 21st.

4U, please choose "baseball" - that division is coed.
Divisions are all set up with an "And Under" designation. For example, if your child is playing  and is 7 on December 31, 2021, they would play in 8U (8 and under). If they are 6 on December 31, 2021, they would play in 6U (6 and under).

I/We understand that Granbury Athletic Association is a non-profit organization, staffed by volunteers, for the sole purpose of providing a supervised baseball and softball program for boys and girls. I/We, the parents(s)/ guardian(s) of the player, do hereby give my/our approval to his/her participation in all activities of the current season.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the GRANBURY ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION sports program, I/We acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that:
1. The risk of injury and/or illness from the activities involved in the program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce the risk, the risk of serious injury does exist;
2. The risk to have direct or indirect contact with individuals who have been exposed to and/or diagnosed with one or more communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19 or other medical conditions, diseases, or maladies, and/or any mutation or variation thereof does exist and it is impossible to eliminate the risk that I could become infected through contact with or close proximity to an individual with a communicable disease;
3. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
4. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual, significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such hazard to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
5. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE GRANBURY ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION, INC., its officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, directors, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of the premises used to conduct the event (collectively, the "Releasees"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.
I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.

Refund Policy
The Policy
In the event a player withdraws from the league, for any reason, on or before the day of the draft at 10:00pm, GAA will fully refund the player's registration fee, less any online convenience fees.  No refunds  will be issued after that time, except that the Board, at its discretion, may issue partial refunds for medical reasons up until ten days after the opening day of games.
COVID-19 exception:  In the event that Granbury Athletic Association must cancel the 2021 Spring Season on the advise or recommendation of state/local health or government officials, the following refund policy will be in effect:
*  If season cancelled prior to the start of games, a refund in the amount of $115 will be issued to all fully paid registrations ($75 for 4U)
*  If season is cancelled after the beginning of the season but prior to the start of games for week three of the season, a refund in the amount of $70.00 will be issued to all fully paid registrations ($30 for 4U)
*  If season is cancelled after the start of games during week 3 of the season, NO REFUNDS shall be issued.
