Quick Tip #84 - Online Waiver Enhancements
This summer we introduced a new online waiver system where you can allow players to electronically sign your organization's liability waiver
online, removing the hassle of getting everyone to sign a paper copy. Another way to help people stay safe and distanced in these extraordinary times.
We just added a couple enhancements to the waiver and player sign-up system that we hope will be the cherry on top of this popular new feature.

-
Choose how long the signed waiver is valid for
One season? One year? Forever? The choice is yours in how often players must
reconfirm their acknowledgement. This option is defined on the main Roster Settings page below where you define the waiver text.
-
Waiver status can now be shown on the Players Report
By adding Waiver Status to the display fields on your report, you can see who has signed and who hasn't with a quick glance down the list.
-
Record offline signatures
If you still allow players to sign a paper copy, admins can now record those offline signatures on the Team Roster page. This will
enable the waiver status field to be a comprehensive accounting of the signatures received.
-
Choose when players are notified of their team
When we added online waivers this summer, we started sending emails to players immediately when they were added to the roster. But we heard from
a few clients that they preferred to send the notifications out once the teams and schedule were finalized.
Under both Sport and Event Options >>
Roster Settings, you can choose to notify players of their team either (a) When added, (b) When event is made public, or (c) Manually.
Please let us know if you need help getting these new settings perfect for your organization. Stay safe over the holidays as we look forward to 2021!
