Quick Tip #80 - League Contacts

On a sports team, the players know the coach is in charge. But who do the coaches look to when they have questions about their league or tournament?
The buck stops with you - the league administrator.

To help coaches and players find the right person to ask, we now store a Main League Contact for all events. In small organizations, one person may be responsible for everything. But in large organizations, each sport, age level, or facility might have a different administrator in charge.

This primary league contact info is used in two places:

1. If a player or coach is viewing a schedule and then clicks on Contact Us (under Help in the top menu), the primary administrator is listed on top.
2. Our mobile app (which will be available to the public very very soon) will allow people to easily exchange messages with the primary administrator.

We will automatically set this primary contact based on who creates the schedule or publishes the event, but you can set them yourself at any time. To review all league contacts and set sport defaults, go to Setup » Main Setup in the top menu, then choose Main League Contacts. You can also edit contacts for individual events on their Event Options page.
