Quick Tip #75 - Create Traveling League Schedules

While most recreational leagues are played at a single neutral location, there are many leagues that travel to the home team's field. This type of schedule is quite a difficult task to automate, but after pondering a solution for more than ten years, QuickScores finally accepted the challenge and we conquered it!

To create a traveling schedule:

1. Set the event type to "Traveling League" on the Manage Events page.
2. Define teams the same as on other leagues.
3. On the Time Slots page, you create a separate list of home field time slots for each team. You may add more time slots than you need per week, in case there are conflicts.
4. On the Create Schedule page, you will need to specify how many games the league will play in each week of the schedule.
5. Click Generate Schedule and you'll have a schedule with all teams playing on their home field.
