Quick Tip #66 - Unlimited length game comments

Sports writer hard at work If you've used QuickScores at all to create schedules, you know that you can add comments to games on the Edit Schedule and Post Scores pages. Most games have no comments. Those that do are usually short notes about the game being rescheduled or going into overtime.

But we also have some clients who are aspiring sports writers. They want to write a few column-inches about every game, not just to satisfy their personal
literary urges, but because they know their athletes love seeing their name in print.

In the past, we limited game comments to only 500 characters. Well, after getting feedback from a few clients with an eye on a Pulitzer who find 500 characters far too limiting, we have essentially removed the limit. Now a game comment can have 65,535 characters! That's roughly equivalent to 20 pages in a book. That should be enough, right?

Now if you are so inclined, you can let your literary juices flow, your poetic license take liberties, and your creativity be amazing! It's time to impress your athletes with your oratory!
