Quick Tip #61 - Manage Duplicate Form Entries
Duplicate Form Entries

At QuickScores we strive to make every step of the registration and scheduling process as easy as possible. But sometimes we make it too easy!

Athletes and parents will sometimes fill out the same online registration form multiple times, leaving you with a long list of entries and unsure which ones are real or not. This week, we introduced a streamlined solution for identifying duplicate form entries that will allow you to quickly identify and eliminate unnecessary entries.

On each Edit Form page, there is a new section called Duplicate Entry Monitoring. Here you can turn the feature on/off, enter an email address to receive notifications about new duplicates, and decide if you want to Auto-Archive unpaid entries that are EXACT duplicates (instead of just very similar).

To see the list of duplicates, click on the button near the top of the Manage Events page or View Entries page (if the form has duplicates).

When you are viewing the list of duplicates, simply click the Delete button for any entry that you don't need. If you decide that both entries are valid, click the Keep button on both entries and neither will be deleted. Note: When deciding which entries to keep, be sure to check the payment status because you probably don't want to delete a paid entry.
