Quick Tip #54 - Create custom fields for coach information

Just when you thought you had everything covered, SOMEONE asks you to track one more bit of data about your coaches. Where are you going record this new info? QuickScores comes to the rescue.

You now have the ability to define custom fields to hold additional data for each coach. You might need to track background checks, training courses completed or certifications achieved. You can define one or more of these special fields by clicking SETUP and jumping to CUSTOM COACH FIELDS. Enter the name of the fields you want along with number of characters you want to allow in each field. You can also specify whether you want that data to be kept hidden for internal use only or made visible to the public on the Coaches and Team Schedule pages. These fields will always be visible on the Administrator’s version of the All Coaches report, where you can download this new data to Excel.

Each coach’s data will be entered on the TEAMS page by clicking the EXPANDED COACH INFO button below the yellow section. As you add teams in the future, the information you previously entered will be copied to the coach portion of the team record as you select that coach from the list.
