Some of our clever clients found a small loophole that allowed them to post scores to linked leagues, even if they were not the league's creator. Great idea, but it didn’t always work. We decided the idea was good enough to make it a published feature of QuickScores and make it work every time. This feature will allow improved management of shared leagues, while reducing the number

of emails and phone calls between sports directors to get the scores entered.

Using the new LINKED LEAGUE PERMISSIONS section on the Setup page, the administrator of any shared or linked league can allow other organizations to post scores to that league and contact the coaches. When you are at the LINKED LEAGUE PERMISSIONS section, start typing the name of the organization that links to your schedules. Select the correct one from the list that appears, and the name will move to the LINKED ORGANIZATIONS box. You are not finished until you click the SAVE button. The organizations that have been added can now post scores on the leagues that they have linked to, as well as send emails and text messages to the coaches in those leagues.

Specifying the linked organization is only required one time. If you want to remove those privileges in the future, you can go back to the Setup page and delete the unwanted organizations.
