Quick Tip #34 - Gone but Not Forgotten - The Recycle Bin
saved schedules are listed with the date and time they were deleted or overwritten. Previously, when you clicked on a schedule name, it was instantly restored to your Event Names page even if you weren't sure that was the schedule you wanted. So we added a couple features to make restoring schedules easier. If you hover your mouse over the icon after the league name, a small window will tell you why the schedule is in the Recycle Bin. And if you click on the league name, you will see a new preview of the teams and league schedule. If this is the schedule you want, click the RESTORE THIS EVENT button at the top of the Preview page. If it’s not the one you want, click on BACK TO RECYCYLE BIN and you can preview another schedule. Once you’ve restored the desired event, you end up back on the EVENT NAMES page. Be sure to rename it so that it doesn't match an existing event (or you can delete the event you no longer want). Also new is the ability to save a copy of an existing schedule before you start experimenting with scheduling changes. On the MODIFY SCHEDULE page, you’ll find a new COMMON EVENT OPTIONS button at the top of the page. Click that button and then click the BACKUP SCHEDULE button. A copy of your original schedule will be saved in the recycle bin for two weeks. You can then make some schedule changes and, if you don’t like them, you can restore the original schedule from the Recycle Bin as described above. QuickScores is always standing by with a safety net to catch deleted and overwritten schedules, so you can retrieve them when you need them!
