(Not So) Quick Tip #33 - New TEAMS page...you're going to love it!
|
Okay, so maybe this stretched a wee bit beyond a Quick Tip. But we're really excited about packing so many
new features into the redesigned Teams page and we just had to tell you about them all. So please read on in this
Fast-As-Possible Tip!
|
|
You can now enter up to four "coaches" for each team, giving you the ability to add
assistant coaches, team moms, or bat boys for each team. You add entries by clicking
the green PLUS on the far right side of any team entry.
|
|
You can add more information for each coach. Just click blue EXPANDED COACH INFO button to
add multiple email addresses, phone numbers, and even the person's title.
(The bat boy loves to be recognized!)
|
|
We’ve added flexibility in managing the privacy of coaches' information. You have the option
of setting the privacy for all coaches at once via the drop-down box in the middle of the page, or you can
use the checkboxes next to each individual field (a check means “show the info to the public”).
|
|
You can now post unique messages for each team. This is accomplished by clicking
the blue EDIT TEAM MESSAGES button below the list of teams, then typing the message in the space
corresponding to a particular team. This message appears on that team’s printer-friendly schedule. Of course,
if you want the same message on each page, you can use the LEAGUE MESSAGE capability which is accessible
by clicking EVENT NAMES, and then OPTIONS for the desired league.
|
|
The last and most exciting change is the ability to reuse the information you have already entered
about a team or coach. When you start to type the name of a team or a coach, we quickly search all
of your past entries and provide you with a list of matching entries. If you find the right one,
click on it and we’ll copy that information. Once copied, you can make any necessary changes that
you would like. This is the same concept as
Google's instant seach results.
|
All of these changes make it easier for you to keep track of and communicate with your coaches via
the extensive email capabilities that QuickScores provides!
More great changes. Easier to use. And if you think this is great, just wait until you see what’s coming!
This redesign of the Teams page is really just the first phase of a much bigger new feature that will be released soon.
From the QuickScores staff,
...dedicated to making your life just a little easier
