GET IN THE GAME … THIS WINTER! YMCA Sports is moving to the next level for the 2008-09 Winter Season! The YMCA Game Plan Competition Package, which includes numbered, sport-specific uniforms as well as team-specific trophies, is coming and will forever change YMCA Sports. Cost is only $30 per sports package! Look for further details at the Member Services Desk of the YMCA of Greater Williamson County branch location nearest you. It’s time to Get in the Game with the YMCA GAME PLAN! New coaching materials that include: comprehensive coaching books, professional parent and coach manuals, free coaching certification that includes aides such as: sport specific clipboards, coach whistle, personal and participant safety information, hands on instruction from local and veteran coaches, offered 4 times annually, better recognition for volunteer coaches, new coach recruitment practices to avoid “No Coach” teams, uniform fits correctly and is dry weave so our kids don’t get over-heated, uniforms have numbers, teams have a color identity, team specific trophies, lights on fields to provide maximum practice time for all teams, referees at all levels, at all games to help support coaches and parents.

On Novmeber 1st, we will be at Canyon Ridge Middle School for anyone who has not yet signed up for Steiner Ranch Basketball. _____________________________________ Winter Registration Process (Download a registration form from the downloadable files link to the left) 1. Check sport child is participating in (basketball or indoor soccer) 2. Check Game Plan (required) 3. Choose jersey and short sizes 4. If you are coaching. please fill out the coaching section and pick up a volunteer form at the front desk 5. Fill out all information on the form (put N/A where information is not applicable) 6. Fill out the request lines if they apply 7. Initial the waiver, sign the form and date it 8. Proceed with the payment
Coaches, please leave practice equipment on the fields and put all soccer balls, t-balls, bats, and other equipment back in the bags when your practice is over
On gameday, please pick up all your water bottles, snack wrappers, and any other trash. PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS: Itty Bitty Sports This 6 week program is designed for the beginning stages of the young athlete. They will participate in T-Ball, soccer, basketball, and flag football. An instructor is provided, however this program does require one parent to participate in every session. Classes are at Twin Lakes YMCA Monday and Wednesday from 10:30am to 11:30am. Boys and Girls 3-5 yrs Family Member - $30.00 Community Member - $40.00
Basketball Clinic During the next six weeks you will learn the basketball techniques of shooting, passing, dribbling and most importantly teamwork and fellowship. The program does require that one parent participate in every session. Due to current programs in our gymnasium at the clinic's scheduled time, this program will be held at Pleasant Hill Elementary on Mondays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm.
