Practice and Game fields are located behind Bone Yard BBQ YMCA WINTER BASKETBALL CLICK HERE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW 2008-09 Guthrie YMCA Winter Basketball- The Winter Basketball League will have an emphasis on the development and understanding of the game of basketball. Children ages 4 to 18 may sign up for the program. The season will consist of 8 games played on Saturdays. One weeknight practice will be provided each week. Spot Shot Competition- This fundraising event will be held on December 6. More information will be available at the coaches and parents meetings. Team and individual prizes and awards will be given out. Coaches Needed- The YMCA uses volunteer coaches to provide leadership to the community through structured athletic activities. We are always in need of new coaches; if you are interested we would certainly appreciate your help! WEATHER A decision on game times will be made at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled game time. Updates will be posted on this website. The YMCA will guarantee one make-up game per season due to weather. YMCA MISSION: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: It is the policy of the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City and the Guthrie Branch that no person will be denied membership or program participation due to the inability to pay.
