| Week 1 | |||
| Sat 9-19-09 - 1:00 PM | Bears Cowboys |
28 0 | Da Bears resembled the ’85 Bears defense on Saturday, allowing only 3 first downs and pitching the first shutout of the season. But Da Bears also showed a highly potent offensive attack as well. The Bears scored on their first 2 plays of the game by Jerry Taylor and Coletin Hamblin. Brendan Manuz, not to be out done, takes a QB boot to the one yard line on the 3rd play and 2 plays later through a TD pass to Jerry. The Cowboys looked to Austin Hudgens to get them moving the ball on offense. |
| Sat 9-19-09 - 2:00 PM | Raiders Jets |
0 21 | The Jets shut down the high flying Raider offensive attack by not giving their QB any time to complete any pass. Jeremy Titsworth got the Jets rolling on offense with the 1st score of the game. Tyler Sereno and Tyler Osterander each scampered into the endzone as well for the Jets. The Raiders’ Sydney Gardner just couldn’t get much going through the air but they found some luck with Blake Anderson carrying the ball, look out for him next week. |
| Sat 9-19-09 - 3:00 PM | Patriots 49'ERS |
28 28 | No, it’s not a misprint, we had a shootout end in a tie between these 2 explosive teams. The Patriots started off the scoring fiasco with a TD run by Christian Hammon. The 49’ers had offense coming from everyone as Reese Hammons took a QB boot for a touchdown, Brett Walls got in the endzone and newly acquired Alberto Urias punched one in as well. Christian also picked one off from the 9ers for a TD. Great game to watch, the fans are still talking about this one today. |
| Thu 9-24-09 - 5:00 PM | Jets Bears |
7 14 | In a championship matchup, the Bears take down a talented Jets team. The Bears “Thunder and Lightning” running backs with Thunder Gerry Taylor and Lightning Coletin Hamblin just wore out the Jets Defense. Gerry Taylor scored the first TD of the game, breaking several defenders to find the zone. But the Jets had new star QB Scovel throwing the ball all over the field, but finding Tyler Ostrander, as he would carve up the Bears D all day. |
| Week 2 | |||
| Sat 9-26-09 - 1:00 PM | 49'ERS Raiders |
28 28 | The 49’ers have played 2 games and now the 9ers have tied 2 games. They are as neutral as they come. The 9ers new shotgun “Fun N Gun” offense was running on all cylinders. Alberto Urias found the zone twice in the process. Reese Hammons and Brett Walls also ran the ball well. The Raiders had a good week of practice and it showed, Dawson Hartness and Sydney Gardner both got the ball to the endzone and played some inspirational football. |
| Sat 9-26-09 - 2:00 PM | Jets Cowboys |
28 21 | The Jets just barely squeak by a much improved and motivated Cowboys team. The Jets came out pumped up ready to play scoring early and often. The Tyler Duo is a deadly combination as each of them, Ostrander and Sereno, both found the goal line. Down but not out the Cowboys made it a game, and they had Caleb Mcafee to lead the way, scoring 2 touchdowns. Newly acquired David Yeates from free agency for the Cowboys was a great addition, keeping the Jets on their heels all game. |
| Sat 9-26-09 - 3:00 PM | Patriots Bears |
7 21 | Da Bears beat a physical Patriots team with a relentless rushing attack. Gerry Taylor had another outstanding game rushing for a touchdown and Barry Heimiller took a reverse to the endzone for a touchdown. The Patriots did something that hasn’t been accomplished yet this season, score on the Bears. The QB boot to Christian Hammon was a perfectly designed play to get them to the zone. |
| Thu 10-1-09 - 5:00 PM | Raiders Patriots |
28 7 | The Raiders jumped out to a quick lead on the 2nd play of the game, a TD run by Sydney Gardner and that set the tempo for the rest of the game. The Raider Defense was just as ferocious, not letting the Patriots get anything going on offense. Jake Hagle also had a monster run for a TD and Blake Anderson joined them in the endzone as well. But the Patriots never quit, fighting until the end when Christian Hammon finally found some real estate and put one in for a touchdown. |
| Week 3 | |||
| Sat 10-3-09 - 1:00 PM | Bears Raiders |
21 7 | Da Bears tally up another win against a physical Raiders team. Gerry Taylor got Da Bears rolling as he added his 2nd pick for a TD this seaso. The Bears were up 7-0 before their offense even stepped on the field, when they did, it took Taylor only 1 play to find the zone. The Bears 2nd possession looked the same, this time it was Coletin Hamblin with some fancy moves for a TD. The Raiders threw out a little trickery with a reverse to Blake Anderson easily fooling the Bears D for a TD. |
| Sat 10-3-09 - 2:00 PM | Patriots Cowboys |
21 28 | A good ole fashioned barn burner here as the Cowboys hang on to beat the Patriots. The Cowboys were fired up for this one, Austin Hudgens ran tough finding the zone for the Boys. The Patriots ran their work horse, Christian Hammon all game, as he finished with 2 TD’s. The Cowboys newly acquired Katz had Katz like reflexes using his speed to take one in and David Yates took a QB boot to the zone. Connor Harris joined the party punching in a long TD run for the Pats to finish the game. |
| Sat 10-3-09 - 3:00 PM | 49'ERS Jets |
7 21 | The Jets did what they do best, score touchdowns, but this time it was against the 9ers. Jeremy Titsworth was worth a lot in the game, finding the endzone twice. But the 9ers would answer back with their Fun N’ Gun style offense, Kira Swope took a direct snap around the edge outrunning all defenders for a touchdown to make it a one score game. The Jets just had too much firepower, Tyler Sereno would be the one to put the final nail in the coffin as the Jets would win 21 to 7. |
| Thu 10-8-09 - 5:00 PM | Cowboys 49'ERS |
21 14 | |
| Week 4 | |||
| Sat 10-10-09 - 12:00 PM | Cowboys Raiders |
14 21 | This game came down to the wire, the Raiders were able to hold off a physical Cowboys team. The Raiders found success where they have found it all year, Blake Anderson and Sydney Gardner, each of them scoring a TD in the game. The Cowboys had everyone touching the ball, the McAfee brothers were a great 1- 2 combo. |
| Sat 10-10-09 - 1:00 PM | Jets Patriots |
28 14 | The Jets had everything working in this one, they ran left, right, and up the middle finding the endzone many times. Malachi Moellman, Jeramy Titsworth, and Tyler Sereno all scored a touchdown for the Jets. The Patriots battled back and made this one a game. Christian Hammon did what he did best, scoring 2 touchdowns. |
| Sat 10-10-09 - 2:00 PM | Bears 49'ERS |
21 7 | Da Bears did it, they beat a very talented 49’ers team on Saturday. It was a very physical game that no one wanted to lose. Thunder and Lightning, Gerry Taylor and Coletin Hamblin, were just too much to stop. Taylor got the Bears on the board with a pick 6 on the first drive and he also broke a long run for a TD and Coletin broke a long run for the Bear’s third score. The 9ers also had some firepower in Alberto Urias and Kira Swope, each of them very tough to stop. Congrats to the Bears. |
