WSRPD 2009 summer Horseshoe League
The 2009 season is underway. Results of the first contests' are below. The next game(s) will be played at the Moose Lodge starting at 6:00 P.M. September 26th.
The first week was extremely fun and showed many upsets. Schedules for Wednesday will be available by tonight 10:00 p.m.
Come out and see us and see what the craze is all about!

Both teams came out throwin, but during the 6th inning all pit throwing stopped and witnessed (2) 6 packs thrown by 2 genteleman on the same inning...Butch and Doug! The Davis Neal crew come out on top and Doug Hunt was not so happy. "I know that we will get them when it counts and we will win." |

21 16 | Davis Neal group played a song at the end of the game(s) last night that almost caused a Horseshoe brawl...The song was entitled "Simply the Best" . Keith threw a punch at Greg but his hand got caught in his Goatee... The groups are hot but after a few conference calls today and sanctions being threatened by the commisioners office everything ....we think is back to normal! |

3 21 | Somebody call the cops! These boys got beat down... Davis - Neal hit 8 ringers in the game and makes quick work of the Archibald/Simmons crew. Archibald was quoted after the game, "Worst game of my life..." Greg Davis was quoted, "Were just good, and he and they are bad. You put that ingredient together and that my friend is a recipe for disaster." |

21 3 | They were the nail and now they are the hammer! Archibald/Simmons finally put it all together and win! The one bright spot from the Garcia/Kelly bunch is that they were able to get 3 points from a 52 yard field goal... Now that is something to build on! |

The song that started the feud last week (simply the Best) was definitely not playing at the end of this night. If it was Ellis/Brooks were the ones hitting play! Ellis, was on fire and Brooks was again quoted after the game. "Mr. Davis works on School buses at Taft High but there was nothing wrong with this bus..we took them to school just fine!"the crowd goes wild! |

I think they got lucky against Davis/Neal and even luckier against Archibald/Simmons. We will see come playoffs? |

21 23 | Keith Sexton managed to play a major part in this game as well... The game was over the die had been cast and then up from a clatter, a voice from the past... Keith screamed...you gotta win by 2 and 21-20 is not a win by 2... Doug Hunt then exclaimed! Thanks Keith for being the scrooge! With that and a big loud clank! Greg Davis threw a ringer and the game was then over with them winning by 2. |
