GYM RULES: No food or drinks allowed. No bouncing of basketballs in hallways. No one is allowed to roam in any of the schools that we use. Adults are responsible for their own behavior and that of non-playing children brought to games and practices.
** No chairs or bleachers are available for spectators at the Stratford Academy - Johnson House gym. If you need a seat, please bring your own.
Sportsmanship and Player, Coach & Spectator Behavior
The Sterling House youth basketball league is a recreational league that promotes fun, development, participation and sportsmanship. All team members must play at least one half of every game.
Spectators are encouraged to cheer for all players, regardless of team affiliation. Negative comments, coaching players, taunting players, criticizing referees, and any other poor sportsmanship will not be allowed and can lead to ejection from the gym. Let the coaches coach and let the referees officiate.
Recognize good sportsmanship by nominating players, coaches, & referees for the 21st Annual Diaz Sportsmanship Award. Send nominations to Bill at bobrien@sterlinghousecc.org.
