Rain - Once games have begun Umpires will have the final call if fields become unplayable if it starts to rain during play. At that point I will email the entire league and update the quickscores main page at www.quickscores.com/southlake

 

Lightning - If the lightning detector sounds we will the delay the game for up to 20 minutes in which all players and managers are required to leave the playing area including the dugouts. If within the 20 minute delay the detector sounds and gives the signal that lightning is no longer a threat, the game will resume.

 

-If 20 minutes has passed and we are not cleared to continue the game, the game will either be rescheduled or called final. If a game has played 4 full innings or more the game will be called final and the score will be recorded. If a game has not played 4 full innings the game will be rescheduled to a later date.  

 

In the case the lightning detectors are not working properly and lightning is visibly detected; game will be delayed 20 minutes and fields will be evacuated. After 20 minutes if lighting is still visibly present game will be called using the scenario list above.

 

If at any time we are cleared to resume play after a delay but are delayed for a second time, the remainder of the game(s) scheduled will automatically be rescheduled or called final based on innings played.
