The City of Thornton offers the largest recreational, fast-pitch softball league in the north area. We have tee-ball (ages 4-5), coach pitch (ages 6-7), and player pitch (ages 8-17) divisions with the season running May-July each year. Teams practice twice per week, either 5-6:30 p.m. or 6:30-8 p.m. at various locations, and games are played on weeknights between 6-10 p.m. at the new Riverwalk Ballfield Complex (9830 Riverdale Road). Divisions are 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14, and 15-18 years old (age on June 1). Registration starts March 1 and the cost for tee ball and coach pitch is $55 for residents or $66 for non-residents.
