Fall Baseball

Fall Baseball

(6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U)

GPARD is once again hosting a fall baseball league for the youth boys in the area. If your child isn’t interested in playing football or soccer this fall, the fall baseball league is a great alternative.

This fall baseball league is designed to bring in teams to this new league. We will not have individual registration. We ask you to form your team, sign your team up, and GPARD will create the league schedule. All postings and information can be found at the Parks & Recreation athletic website at www.quickscores.com/gainesville.

The Gainesville Parks & Recreation fall baseball league is not affiliated with the spring baseball league and will have no overlap. If your child does play other sports in the fall, they will hopefully have time to also participate in the fall baseball league.

We are keeping the price as low as possible with the hopes of deterring no one. The reason for the league is to help advance the skills in baseball, to offer an alternative to the regular fall sports, and to keep your fall activities local. Uniforms are not required, but we would prefer a number on the back of the shirt and for you to supply your team with catching gear. We are extending the invitation to all North Texas and Southern Oklahoma intact teams. Your help is needed to forward this flyer to all you may know.

Areas that this flyer will be sent to include: Gainesville, Lindsay, Valley View, Muenster, Nocona, Callisburg, Sanger, Whitesboro, Collinsville, Sherman, and Pilot Point. If you know of anyone else from another school area, please forward this to them.

The league will include 8 regular season games with a tournament following the regular season. As stated at the top, this league will consist of 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U.

Awards will include 1st and 2nd place T-shirts.
