Summer Camp at The Y focuses on nurturing the potential of children and helping them grow in spirit, mind and body. We encourage fun and friendships and provide the opportunity for young people to build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills and make lasting memories. Plus, our highly qualified staff receive over 40 hours of preparation prior to interacting with campers and are CPR certified.
Our programs 40 key Developmental Assets that help young people successfully meet life’s challenges. Summer camp specifically focuses on the following assets: positive adult role models, other adult relationships, creative activities, positive values and conflict resolution.
