If you want to experience tennis for the first time or just improve your game, the Albany Parks and Recreation Department has a tennis class for you! We are fortunate to have Jay Clark as our instructor. Jay is a highly respected player and teacher whose enthusiasm for the game shines through as his students conquer new skills and develop a love for the game. All classes will be held at the Albany Tennis Club @ 1423 SW 27^th St. Albany, OR. Rackets are available upon request.

Be introduced to the basics of playing tennis including grips, ground stroke, positioning, and game strategy with kids your own age in this class designed for the beginning student. Each session is 6 lessons and costs $36 in-city/ $42 out-of-city.

BEGINNING/ INTERMEDIATE LESSONS (Ages 14-Adult)

Learn to play for the first time, improve your game, or put to use that long neglected racket. These classes focus on the fundamentals of tennis including ground strokes, volleys, serves, and positioning. Make this the summer you enjoy tennis.

Each session is 6 lessons and costs $36 in city/ $42 out of city.

Here is a great opportunity for middle and high school age players to build and refine their tennis skills. This year's camp will offer 15 hours of expert instruction in just one week. Jay will help you improve every facet of your game including ground strokes, serving, your service return, net game, and match strategy. Students should have previously taken beginning or intermediate levels classes or have a good background in tennis. Tennis camp will be held at the Albany Tennis Club @ 1423 SW 27^th St.
